How Can severe Cold And Runny Nose Be Treated?
my daughter has had a cold, fever, runny nose for the past week. today fever is better, but since last night she says that she smells ammonia/vinegar wherever she goes. tonight while eating supper she couldn t eat ranch or tarter sauce which she normally loves, because it tasted horrible. any thoughts? I was wondering if she might have a sinus infection?

It is just viral rhinitis. As of now, you can take acetaminophen and antihistamines like Cetirizine for symptomatic relief.
Nothing much to worry and the symptoms will settle in three to four days. If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
